my postcard collection

Every year postcrossers organize tons of in-person and virtual meetups and there are often limited postcards designed and printed specifically for those meetups. Most of the time meetups are themed around something: a holiday, a fandom, an object, a field trip... and naturally, the cards reflect that. This is a small collection of meetup postcards I received. All of these cards were scanned by me. Click to open a bigger version, etc.

  • Organized by sender country (for now it's "Russia" and "everywhere else")
  • Traditionally, what people do during meetups is stamp or sign every meetup card that's going to be sent. Seasoned postcrossers even have their own custom rubber stamps! Depending on the size of the meetup, the back of a card may be entirely covered in stamps/signatures or have space for a short message. I scanned the backs of these cards and linked them too.

Flavia de Luce Mysteries fan meetup in Rostov-on-Don (November 2022).
I've only read the first book in the Flavia de Luce series by Alan Bradley, but those books are such a vibe that I had to have this card when I saw someone offering it.
